EDA THROUGH THE BREAKING GLASS
The collaboration between fashion and dancing has yielded a project that combines the visual artistry of dance with the beauty of fashion. The project's objective is to create a one-minute video that tells a powerful story to the audience, which centers on the talented Eda, a student at Lasalle University. Together, the team has conceptualized a narrative that they call "Breaking Through." It chronicles the journey of a young girl who is trapped in the confines of societal opinions and weighed down by negative emotions.

The set design plays a critical role in telling the story. Using glass and the interplay of light and shadow create a prison for the girl, emphasizing her sense of being trapped. The clothing is essential, designed to underscore the girl's transformation so the team has incorporated Gothic and medieval fashion symbols that represent women trapped in their clothing. The accessories pearls top and bottom, shine and represent the girl's emergence from her constraints, breaking free and becoming her true self.
